Japanese Guide Visit – Last Day
Today we farewelled our Japanese Girl Guides and took them to Melbourne to prepare for their journey home to Inagawa. We will miss them all.

Our Japanese Girl Guides have spent the day experiencing schooling at Phoenix P-12 Community College.

The Japanese Guides had a day in the City of Ballarat. They spent time at the Town Hall, followed by shopping before visiting a local Guide unit.

Our Japanese Guides have played mini golf and visited the MADE centre at Eureka.

Preparing for Japanese Girl Guides
Ballarat Guides have been preparing for a visit from a Girl Guide unit in Inagawa, Japan.
Ballarat Guide providing service in Nepal
Local Guide, Brianna, and her family are headed to Nepal to provide service after the earthquake Her Guide unit have provided items for the Nepalese children.
Light Painting at Guides
Girl Guides have been introduced to the fun of light painting with a visit from We Shoot Stuff.
No Guiding Lights
This week a Girl Guide unit held an Earth Hour activity. Heaters and lights were turned off for the night and the girls enjoyed an evening of darkness.

Harmony Day with a Chinese Lion
Ballarat Begonia Junior Girl Guides celebrated Harmony Day with a Lion Team training session for the Chinese Australian Cultural Society. They learnt dances, wore costumes and played drums.
Environment Day 2017
Local Guides joined others from across the state to participate in an Environment Day Activity in Ballarat. The girls had a great day fishing and learning about the health of the waters of Lake Wendouree.
