Japanese Guide Visit – Tuesday

Ballarat Wildlife Park
Troop 17 of Hyogo Council spent this morning at Ballarat’s Wildlife Park. The Guides and Leaders enjoyed:
- a guided tour of the park
- feeding the kangaroos
- comparing their arm span to that of an eagle
- taking a photo with a koala
- and visiting the Tasmanian devil, penguins, crocodiles, reptiles and kookaburras
Lake Wendouree
After a picnic lunch in the rotunda at Lake Wendouree, our Guides looked at the Olympic Rings and explored the Aboriginal-themed playground before seeking a warmer location.
Stocklands Wendouree
Not quite what was planned for the afternoon, but the girls enjoyed a shopping detour.
Our local Leaders went home for a nanna nap …. whilst the Guides spent time with their host families doing a variety of different things.
