Jamborella Time Travel
Jamboree for 5-9 year old Guides.
This 2 night, indoor camp is designed to support our youngest Guides in their early experiences away from home. It aims to:
- build self-confidence
- provide new experiences
- encourage participation in new activities
- offer adventure
- allow for making new friends
This camp is actually being held across the state at three different venues. One of them is right on our door step in Creswick.
The theme will take the girls on an adventure back in time to help Girl Guides of the past complete challenges:
- code cracking
- campfire
- baking bread
- churning butter, as well as discovering new technologies of the future
Where: Lingbogol Guide Camp, Creswick
(also available at Rowallan on the same weekend)
When: 28-30 September
Cost: $180 (covers accommodation, food, camp activities, and volunteer expenses). All Guide camps are staffed by experienced and trained volunteer Guide Leaders who donate their time at no cost.
