A Day of fun activities exploring our flora and fauna.

Girl Guides Victoria has teamed up with Fisheries Victoria, Parks Victoria and Catchment Management Authority to provide a day of fun filled activities.
Guides aged 5-17 will participate in four different sessions:
- Learn to fish in the lake while understanding the impact of fish over population, fishing guidelines and being safe near the water.
- Become a junior ranger discovering a bush supermarket and exploring the flora and fauna in the wetlands environment.
- Be involved in the water watch session looking at water bugs and learning about water quality testing.
- Understand the impact of camping and unit meetings on our environment and participate in activities from the 2017 EnviroGuide badge syllabus.

When: March 18. 9:30-3:30
Where: Lake Wendouree
Cost: $15 per Guide. This includes lunch. Please bring morning and afternoon tea.
