The Melbourne Gang Show is an annual youth musical presented by the Scouts and Guides of Melbourne.
The productions have been running for over sixty years and provide our youth members with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience and teamwork through the performing arts.
The 2019 production involves more than 140 Guides and Scouts. It is a high-energy musical comedy about the mayhem, mischief and madness found under “The Big Top”.
The Big Top
Follow the five children of the Christiani family as they discover a magical world of colour, music and wonder when the circus comes to town.
But overshadowing their every move is the dark and tragic history of their parents’ past with the circus.
The plot thickens when we meet a wannabe ringmaster who possesses an all powerful top hat, a lion that’s been let loose from its cage, and a camera crew that threatens the future of the circus!
Will the circus be doomed forever? Or can the Christiani family reunite to save the Spirit of the Circus?
