Matilda and Zumbo's Just Desserts

Matilda recently joined us on the night when we conducted our own version of Zumbo’s Just Desserts. We used ice cream as the base for our creations, then had to use our imagination to decorate it. We had some toppings and also made our own from chocolate.
We were randomly allocated a theme so that each patrol had an individual challenge. The result was a Child’s birthday cake, a Wedding cake, a Celebration cake, and a Valentine’s cake.
The challenge was to:
- design the dessert
- make the chocolate toppings
- create the dessert
- and then the best part – EAT the finished product
…… all before the ice cream melted.
Matilda really enjoyed the activity, and so did we.
