Footy Night

The Eureka Butterfly Guides have held a Footy Night as the last activity for the term.
The girls focused on hand balling and kicking skills. They even managed to kick a football so far that it landed on a nearby roof (and was later retrieved).
The Guides made their our own footy jerseys and cheerleading pom-poms for their football teams.
The activity implemented girl-led programming and encouraged the girls to come up with their own football teams and create their own cheerleading pom-poms. They worked together to make up a song for their team.
They helped each other with pom-poms and put on a performance for the Leaders.
