Clean Up Australia 2018

March 8, 2018

Girl Guide units in Ballarat have joined in with the annual Clean Up Australia campaign. This is one of the many ways that Guides provide service to their local community.

The girls spread out across Ballarat and collected rubbish and recyclable items.  There were 7253 registered site across Australia and Girl Guides were represented at many of those.

Ian Kiernan AO, Chairman and Founder of Clean Up Australia, said that he was proud to see so many Australians continuing to rally to the cause.

“It’s really great to see so many people passionate about removing rubbish from the places that are important to them”
