Girl Guide Biscuits

July 1, 2016

Girl Guide biscuits have been a Guiding tradition for more than 50 years.

Ballarat Guide selling biscuitsToday, local Girl Guides set up a display in Central Square and sold their biscuits directly to the public.  This is a great way for the girls to work on communication, confidence and money-handling skills.

This year, the Guide biscuits have been baked by an Australian biscuit manufacturer – Modern Baking Company (MBC), based in Melbourne.  The range has increased to include four products, including a new gluten-free biscuit (produced in a factory that is free from peanuts and sesame, so also safe for people with these allergies)

  • character_pair2traditional – a classical vanilla biscuit (with an updated seven-pointed star in the GGA Trefoil)
  • triple choc – a chocolate biscuit with chocolate chips and a soft filled chocolate centre
  • shortbread – gluten free shortbread-style biscuit
  • bush buddies snack – convenient snack pack mini choc biscuits in Australian animal shapes.

Our biscuits even have their own website.

Grab your own pack

We are at the end of our biscuit sale campaign, but there are still some left.  Please contact us if you would like to grab your own pack and a Leader will be in contact.

Girl Guide Biscuits are of course, delicious just as they are. But they are also perfect in many recipes.
