Robot Workshop

This weekend, Ballarat Guides and Leaders have been helping out at the annual Ballarat Heritage Weekend.  The theme of the 2018 BHW is “100 Years of Technology & Innovation”. Mayor Cr Samantha McIntosh says:

This year’s Ballarat Heritage Weekend celebrates past achievements and future endeavours by focusing on technology and innovation.

Our Guide Leaders are running the Robot Workshop activity, which includes:

  • making robot masks
  • colouring in pictures
  • folding cardboard 3-d robots

 

Activity Location

Tubby the Robot drops in periodically to chat to visitors and answer questions.

Where: Upstairs at the Ballarat Town Hall

When: 10am – 5pm Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May, 2018

 

In the weeks leading up to the event, Guides from various Units created robots to put on display.

 

 

 

 

#BallaratGuides are helping at the ROBOT WORKSHOP at the Ballarat Heritage Weekend. Pop in to the Town Hall and enjoy the activities.
