Ballarat Guides Clean Up Australia

March 9, 2016

Clean Up Australia 2016The annual Clean Up Australia campaign is the perfect opportunity for Girl Guides to provide service to their community.

Each unit chooses their own area and collects discarded rubbish and recyclable items.  We had Guides, Leaders and parents cleaning up:

  • around local Guide Halls
  • Victory Park in Sebastopol
  • Victoria Park in Ballarat
  • Ballarat South Community Hub (and surrounding areas)

There were over 7500 sites across Australia this year and Girl Guides would have been represented at many of those.
