Matilda visits Sebastopol Guides

Daffodil Day High Tea

Matilda visited the 1st Sebastopol Guide unit just in time to join us at a fundraising event. We had decided to organise a High Tea and to invite guests along to raise money for the Cancer Council Daffodil Day campaign.  We made some slices at Guides last week and arrived early this week to make fresh scones and sandwiches.

We had over 30 guests in our Guides hall and we served them drinks and food throughout the night. Matilda particularly enjoyed the scones and managed to get cream all over her face.

We also organised a raffle that raised extra money. Rob Petrie, a volunteer for local cancer groups, came along and spoke to the Guides and our guests.
