Butterfly Sleepover

At the end of March, the Eureka Butterfly Guides organised their first sleepover for the year. Most of the girls had never been to an overnight Guide activity so everything was really new. Two of the girls are about to attend the Guides Victoria Camp Together state camp so this was great preparation.
The girls were introduced to traditional Guiding activities including:
- campfire
- bed roll making
- creating swaps and looking at Leaders’ camp blankets
Some girls enjoyed their first ever smore, one of our most delicious Guiding traditions.
The Guides and volunteer Leaders had a great night spending time with friends and making new ones. They are looking forward to their next sleepover adventure in term 2.
