The Sebastopol & District Lions Club is a proud part of the global Lions Clubs International network—one of the world’s largest and most active service organisations. Founded on the principle of “We Serve,” the club has been making a positive impact across Ballarat’s southern communities for decades, with a strong focus on supporting local families, youth, and those in need.

With members drawn from all walks of life, the club is built on a shared commitment to community service, friendship, and making a real difference—whether that’s fundraising for vital projects, hosting family-friendly events, or stepping up to help neighbours in times of hardship.

From sausage sizzles and raffles to supporting eye health initiatives, disaster relief efforts, and local sports and youth programs, the Sebastopol & District Lions Club is constantly finding new ways to serve. They also provide hands-on assistance for those experiencing disadvantage, and regularly contribute to projects that improve the wellbeing, inclusion, and future prospects of people in the Ballarat area.

At its heart, the club is about connection—with each other, with the wider community, and with causes that truly matter.
