Service to the Animal Shelter

July 12, 2019

Ballarat Animal Shelter  are aiming to create a community friendly feel for their shelter. Local community groups have been invited to take ownership of the cats’ homes and to decorate the cages of the 90 cats and kittens with toys.

Local Girl Guides have helped out by donating handmade toys and collecting blankets for the 90 cats and kittens at the shelter.

Mackenzie Burrows from Buninyong Guides says

“It was fun making toys for the furry friends. We were making dangly, noisy ones with bells and we made some ropey ones with string and wool to hang up for them to play with”
