Participate in Geelong Showtime

Ballarat Guides and Scouts are invited to participate in the upcoming production of Geelong Showtime.

Musical Production

The production is called Watch This Space and has been written and produced by Scouts and Girl Guides.  It will be a huge show with a cast of 150 Scouts and Guides.

The musical is about Zap Lightning on an action‐packed journey through the universe to discover a replacement for Earth’s dwindling FLUX supplies. Visit strange new worlds and meet aliens.  Can Zap save the planet? We’ll find out.

Rehearsals will be held in Geelong from late July to September

Participants

• CAST – Guides aged between 11 and 26 (as at 14th September).  All applications accepted
• TECHNICAL TEAM – Guides and Leaders aged 15+ (as at 1st September).  No technical knowledge required.  Areas include staging, make‐up, mics and props.

Cost: $130 per Guide – includes several meals during rehearsals and performances, performance jacket, scarf, attendance at a similar production, after party.
