Bacchus Marsh Girl Guides

Congratulations to all the Guides who participated in The Great Race.

This is an annual event, organised by a local unit to encourage teams of Guides to work in patrols to achieve goals (with minimal assistance from the supervising adults).

Despite the rainy weather, teams of Girl Guides spent the day playing an observation game throughout the wet streets of Creswick. They were required to follow an observation layout to answer questions, take photos, capture videos, talk to people, and participate in activities … all while being scored on the results of their teamwork.

It was a close finish with the team of Bacchus Marsh girls finishing only one point ahead of two other patrols.

Thank you to Mrs Fischer, Jacinta and Melissa who put aside several days to prepare the activity, and to the Leaders who helped on the day.
