2018 ANZAC Day

GirlGuidesBallarat AnzacDayFlagRaisingOn April 25th, Girl Guides from various units across Ballarat attended many local ANZAC Day services.

Uniformed Guides marched in the parades and laid wreaths, either with their Guide unit or with their school. They joined thousands of war vetarans, Scouts, school students, service organisations and members of parliament, all acknowledging the significance of the commemorative day.

Our Guides provide further service by:

  • selling ANZAC badges during April
  • handing out programs at services
  • raising the flag at the dawn service and standing at attention throughout

The Ballarat Courier provided a thorough coverage of the various Anzac Day Services.
