Soup, Sandwiches and Slices

This week our oldest local Guides (that is, the Ruff Diamond Trefoils) spent a rainy Sunday together that began with lunch and ended with afternoon tea.

In between time, the members experimented with craft items made with the help of a Cricut machine.  This was a new concept to many members so it was a great opportunity to share knowledge and discuss ideas for possible uses.

The activities included:

• a demonstration of how to make and cut out stickers
• constructing a delicate tea-light lantern
• making camp blanket badges
