Erica – Emu Award Recipient
Ballarat’s Erica Ferguson has been presented with the Emu Award at the annual Guides Victoria Girls Rock conference.
The Emu Awards is presented for
“Excellent service to Guiding in various appointments or areas at State or national level”.
Erica has just completed her 5 year term as Grampians Region’s first Region Leader. She has been involved in Guiding in Ballarat for many years.
Life Membership of Guides Victoria
Guides Victoria have recognised two new Life Members.
- Betty De Marchi
- Elizabeth Adnams
Life Membership is the highest recognition available to honour exceptional contributions to Guiding.
Recipients need to have demonstrated:
“significant, high quality, committed service that enhances the reputation and future of GGV overall”.
Both Elizabeth and Betty have done so, and are well-known names in the Guiding community.
