December 14, 2023
During a recent Christmas gathering of Girl Guide Leaders, District Leader Karen Chatto presented several certificates to our Ballarat volunteers.
Wattle Award
Congratulations to Julie-Anne Evans, one of our dedicated long-time volunteer leaders. Julie-Anne was presented with the Wattle Award, a prestigious “Adult Good Service Award” that acknowledges and values the voluntary contributions of adult members to Guiding.
Known as ‘Opal’ within the Guiding community, Julie-Anne has served in leadership and management roles for an impressive 30 years, as well as being instrumental in forming the Ruff Diamond Trefoils.
