It’s been a busy start to the Guiding year. Tonight we had the pleasure of accepting an invitation to join forces with our local Scouts at their annual Construction/Destruction event.
The eskies were full with water bombs, the ballistas were carefully constructed and safety gear was in place …..
Go !! And if you aren’t manning a ballista, move back.
The evening at the local parkland was thoroughly enjoyed by the 11th Ballarat Guides, 1st Sebastopol Guides and several Scout groups. Some ballistas worked well, others did not. Some girls got wet, others avoided the water.
The poles are now packed away. Until next year when we do it all again.
