Dad & Daughter Night

The Delacombe Junior Girl Guides have enjoyed a special night with their Dads at the Ballarat Tramway Museum. The mild winter evening provided a perfect atmosphere for a sunset tram ride along the scenic Lake Wendouree. Some of the girls and their dads had the opportunity to operate the track lever, changing the direction of the tracks and skillfully steering the tram.

Back at the museum, Peter and his team of volunteers organised an exciting “Night at the Museum” with a torchlight exploration through the display of historic trams. This was followed by an engaging observation game around the trams and a challenging “Kim’s Game” involving the various items carried in the conductor’s bag.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable session and we are grateful to the volunteers at the Tramway Museum for the time and effort they put into making this such a special night.
