Crafty Guides

The 11th Ballarat Guides have kept busy during the cooler months with a variety of fun and creative activities.

Recently, the girls contributed to the City of Ballarat’s Youth Ambassadors Program, which is currently working to brighten local bus stops and make public transport feel safer for young people. The Guides created colourful woven squares that were used to decorate a bus shelter — a vibrant addition to the community.

The Guides also enjoyed a crafty project of their own — making personal jewellery holders by decorating cork boards, each one unique to its creator.

These activities were fun and a practical way for the girls to express their creativity while making a positive impact in their community.
