Explosive Fun at 11th Ballarat Guides’ Science Night

Science came to life at 11th Ballarat Guides as the girls explored fascinating experiments during a hands-on Science Night.

Led by Aileen Shearer-Cox and her daughter Emily (a former Guide), the night was filled with exciting discoveries and laughter.  The highlight was the ‘Chicken Cup’ – A simple paper cup that somehow made real chicken noises. Weird, right? 🐔

The girls also tested out other fun experiments:

🚀 Coca-Cola rockets blasting into the sky 
✏️ Using static electricity to make a pencil spin
🎈 Using bi-carb soda to inflate a balloon—no puffing needed

Science Night was a fantastic mix of learning and fun, proving that science can really be amazing.
