The 1st Sebastopol Guides are currently fundraising to help send 14 girls to the Jamboree that will be held in January of 2023.

The Jamboree will be held in Ballarat at Victoria Park, the same venue that experienced a constant downpour during the Scout Jamboree in 1992. This turned out to be the wettest January on record at the time.

Those who camp regularly at Lingbogol have memories of rainy camps.  And it can occur at any time of the year regardless of thoughtful planning.
